Nebraska – In a tragic and disturbing case that captured attention across the country, an 18-year-old girl, identified as C. Anderson, has been sentenced to a long prison term after the death of her newborn son.
Anderson, who was charged as an adult, entered a no-contest plea to second-degree murder last year. This plea means she accepted responsibility without formally admitting guilt as part of a plea agreement.
