40-Year-Old Man Died After 23-Year-Old Restaurant Employee He Was Cursing at Pulled Out a Gun and Shot Him in the Chest; Employee Arrested

A shocking incident in Florida has left many stunned after a 40-year-old man named W. Robertson was shot and killed outside a fast food restaurant over a small argument about a missing mayonnaise packet. The accused, 23-year-old employee E. Mackey, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder.

How the Tragic Incident Happened

The event took place at around 10 p.m. on Wednesday outside a local restaurant. According to the police, Robertson became angry when he noticed his order was missing some mayonnaise sachets. He started arguing with a female staff member and demanded to speak to the manager.

Witnesses say Robertson was frustrated and used bad language, calling Mackey names like “p—y” and “b—.” In response, Mackey reportedly said, “Oh, I am a p—y?” and then took out a gun and shot Robertson in the chest.

Surveillance footage shows Mackey climbing out of the drive-thru window, walking around the restaurant, and confronting Robertson before firing the shot. Robertson collapsed immediately after.

Emergency Response and Arrest

Paramedics arrived quickly and rushed Robertson to the nearest hospital, but he died shortly after arrival. Police later found Mackey hiding under a stairwell at a nearby hotel. When they found him, he asked, “Is dude OK?” and admitted he still had the gun with him.

Before hiding, Mackey went back to the restaurant to collect his backpack, according to court documents.

Legal Action and Restaurant Response

Mackey was arrested the next day and sent to the county jail. During a court hearing, the judge denied bail, and he remains in custody. A public defender has been assigned to him.

The restaurant where the incident happened has been temporarily closed. A note on the door said the location was suspending operations for now.

A spokesperson from the restaurant chain said, “We are shocked and saddened by this event. The actions of one employee do not represent the values of our thousands of team members.”

Public Reaction

Local residents and business owners expressed deep shock. Many couldn’t believe that a minor issue like a missing sauce packet led to such a violent ending.

The police confirmed that the investigation is still ongoing, and Mackey’s next court date is yet to be announced.
