Coast Guard Veteran Lured the Man She Accused of Raping Her to the Woods, Killed Him and Then Went to Get a Tattoo

Chelsea Perkins, a former Coast Guard member and OnlyFans model, is facing a long prison sentence. She admitted to killing a man she said raped her. The incident happened in 2021 at an Ohio national park and involved shocking events with the victim’s parents.

What Happened in the Murder

Chelsea Perkins pleaded guilty to killing 31-year-old Matthew Dunmire. His body was found in Cuyahoga Valley National Park near Cleveland on March 9, 2021. He had been shot in the back of the head.

Before his death, Dunmire was seen meeting a woman visiting the area — Perkins. They stayed at an Airbnb booked with her credit card. After spending the night, Perkins told her tattoo artist she planned to make a “stop” before going home.

On March 6, 2021, Perkins and Dunmire drove to the national park. Hikers heard a gunshot that day. Later, Perkins was seen walking in the park, looking lost and wearing unusual clothes for hiking.

Police found Perkins’ DNA on a water bottle near the victim and on Dunmire’s body. They also tracked the car Perkins and her husband used.

About Perkins and the Rape Claim

After the Coast Guard, Perkins became an OnlyFans model named Sabrina Savage. She claimed Dunmire raped her, but police said there was not enough evidence to charge him.

Victim’s Parents Tried to Take Revenge

Dunmire’s parents tried to get revenge. His mother dressed like a UPS driver and shot a woman in Washington, D.C., thinking it was Perkins. The woman was innocent.

The parents tried to hide, but police found them. Dunmire’s mother killed herself when officers closed in. The woman who was shot survived. Dunmire’s father was arrested and sentenced to three years in prison.
