Seafood lovers visiting Joe’s Crab Shack at Bossier’s Boardwalk were met with a bittersweet sight: a simple sign thanking the community for their support and encouraging guests to visit sister locations soon.
Why Did Joe’s Crab Shack Close?
While no official reason was given, the closure comes not long after other popular restaurants at the Louisiana Boardwalk also shut their doors. Just a couple of months ago, Hooters closed at the end of April after choosing not to renew its lease. Shortly after, Sweet Caroline’s also closed at the end of May.
When asked about the closure, the manager at Joe’s Crab Shack wasn’t able to provide detailed information but confirmed the restaurant is no longer open.
The Last Joe’s Crab Shack in Louisiana
The Bossier location at 635 Boardwalk Blvd was the only Joe’s Crab Shack left in Louisiana. According to management, there are currently no plans to relocate or open a new location in the state.
