A white male is wanted for the battery of a Hispanic male, and authorities are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

Details of the Incident

The incident, which was captured on a video that has since gone viral, shows the suspect approaching the victim from behind. While the victim was focused on his phone, the suspect reached into his pocket and attacked. Many social media comments suggest that the suspect may have used brass knuckles during the assault.

The victim, who was caught off guard, sustained severe facial trauma and was transported to LSU Health Science Center for treatment. Shreveport residents have expressed outrage over the lack of immediate action following the assault, with many viewing the attack as a possible hate crime, given the nature of the assault.
