A Wichita Falls man is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly going on a violent rampage, striking a motorcyclist with his car and shooting him, according to court and jail records.

Details of the Incident

According to a probable cause affidavit, a Wichita County deputy responded to a crash involving a car and a motorcycle.

What Happened?

  • The motorcyclist had a gunshot wound to the leg.
  • The victim said a car occupant fired multiple shots at him while he was traveling west on U.S. Highway 287.
  • The car followed him off the highway at Johnson Road and crashed into him, causing the motorcycle to veer into a ditch.

Mojica’s Arrest

  • Deputies later found a car with heavy front-end damage a few miles away at U.S. 287 Business and FM Road 369.
  • Mojica exited the vehicle, reportedly yelled “kill me” several times, then ran.
  • A deputy shot him with a beanbag round, but Mojica continued to resist.
  • He was eventually subdued after being Tased twice.

Witness Accounts:

  • A female passenger in Mojica’s car said he tried to run multiple vehicles off the road before shooting the motorcyclist twice and then running him over.
  • Another witness saw Mojica’s car hit the victim.
