Singer Jeremiah Miller has once again gone viral, but this time, it’s not just for his impressive vocals. The former The Voice contestant was filmed riding an electric skateboard while belting out Maroon 5’s “Sunday Morning” on San Antonio’s River Walk, violating multiple city codes in the process.
With a battery-powered PA speaker strapped to his back and a wireless microphone in hand, Miller’s performance caught plenty of attention—some positive, some not so much.
What Happened?
Miller, a former Season 13 contestant on The Voice, was seen:
- Riding a Onewheel electric skateboard along the San Antonio River Walk
- Blasting music from a loudspeaker inside his backpack
- Singing live with a microphone while a full backing track played
While some bystanders enjoyed the show, others were less impressed. One man held up two fingers, seemingly informing Miller that he was breaking two city codes, before turning away and allegedly calling the police.
The likely violations included:
- Operating an electric skateboard on the River Walk (where vehicles are restricted)
- Excessive noise and performing in a public space without a permit
Despite this, many people either vibed with the impromptu performance or simply ignored it—because, let’s face it, not everyone is a Maroon 5 fan.
Will Miller Face Consequences?
According to KSAT News, it’s unclear whether Miller received a citation for his performance. However, given his growing TikTok presence and tendency to perform in public spaces, this may not be the last time he gets attention for his unique street concerts.
violating codes daily 😓
Miller, who was eliminated in the knockout rounds of The Voice in 2017, has since built a massive social media following by filming similar public performances. With this latest viral video set in an iconic Texas location, his audience is only going to grow even more.
