On Wednesday, March 12, a single-vehicle collision claimed the life of a man from Wichita Falls.
Around 11:24 p.m., 28-year-old Brandon Lee Baker was heading north on Wellington Lane when he went off the west side of the road, overcorrected, crossed the road, and went off the east side of the road, according to a Texas Department of Safety spokesperson, Sgt. Juan Gutierrez.
The car then rolled after he struck a pole.
At the scene, Baker was declared dead.
