Due to the Persistent Wind and Dust, Flights to and From Wichita Falls Have Been Grounded

WICHITA FALLS — Flights to and from Wichita Falls Regional Airport have been cancelled on Friday, March 13.

Strong winds whipped a cloud of dust through the area, disrupting travel plans.

American Eagle Flight 6284 from DFW to Wichita Falls and the return flight to DFW have been canceled.

As of the time of publication, the 9 p.m. flight from DFW to Wichita Falls was still operating, but we will continue to monitor the situation.
