WICHITA FALLS — Former Wichita Falls City Councilor Charles “Chuck” Elmore died at the age of 88.
He represented District Five for six years, three terms.
During his tenure in office, Elmore collaborated with local museums and art organizations to support and promote the arts for children, visitors, residents, and the elderly. He also worked with the Wichita Falls Police and Fire Departments to ensure they had the necessary tools.
At this time, no memorial service has been planned, but Elmore’s remains will be interred at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery for Veterans.
