Americans with a college education Top Texas Travel Destinations

Where people are moving to Texas should not matter unless it benefits Texas. All of the recent surveys and charts about where people have moved the most in America included no information about the quality of people moving.

It automatically includes everyone. Cities want to attract the best and brightest, along with their tax dollars.

People who are out of work may return home to live with their families. There are many stages in life, and being a college graduate should not matter, but it does.

New Census Data Study Finds Where College Educated People Move In America

Using 2023 census data, Axios discovered that New York, Washington, D.C., and Dallas are the cities where the most college-educated people left their home county. These white-collar workers are also moving to other Texas cities such as Houston, Austin, and San Antonio.

Over 31,000 college students visited the Dallas/Richmond area in 2023. That is Nacogdoches’ entire population, excluding current enrollment at the SFA college campus.

When people from small towns across the country receive their bachelor’s degrees, the first thing they do is look for work in a city with attractions that they value.

Texas Will Continue To Grow Well After Our Lifetimes

While other states may contract and expand, Texas’ population continues to grow. More people, more problems, more money.

Hopefully, the power grid will keep up. It might be a hot summer.
