EntertainMart, a popular local spot for entertainment lovers in Wichita Falls, has announced that it will be closing its current location on May 11 due to what the store called “unforeseen circumstances.”
The store, located at 2811 Southwest Parkway, shared the news in a Facebook post, adding that they hope to reopen in a new location in the future.
A Go-To Spot for Books, Movies, and Games
EntertainMart first opened its doors in 2019, taking over the former Hancock Fabrics location. Since then, it has become a favorite destination for those looking to buy or trade books, DVDs, Blu-rays, video games, vinyl records, collectibles, and more.
With its wide variety of products, the store attracted fans of all ages—especially those who enjoy physical media and retro entertainment.
Unclear Future, But Hope Remains
While the reason for the closure wasn’t clearly detailed beyond “unforeseen circumstances,” the business seems hopeful that this is not the end. In their post, EntertainMart said they are currently looking for a new location and plan to reopen when possible.
