Sadie Robertson Huff, host of the Whoa That’s Good podcast and soon-to-be mom of three, had a whirlwind weekend that led to a hospital visit. The Duck Dynasty star, who is currently pregnant with her third child, shared her eventful experience with fans, including her unexpected health scare.
A Rocky Weekend for Robertson Huff
In a video posted from a public bathroom, Robertson Huff detailed the events of her busy weekend. “Thursday night we got to Florida to enjoy some family time before I was supposed to speak Saturday morning at a conference in Destin,” she explained. But things quickly took a turn.
“Friday afternoon I got hit with what we think was food poisoning, and it was rough,” she continued, explaining that the food poisoning led to consistent contractions every 3 minutes for a couple of hours.
Robertson Huff ended up in the hospital, where she was monitored to make sure she wasn’t going into preterm labor. Thankfully, the doctors confirmed that it was just the aftereffects of food poisoning, and her baby was safe. “I got the best care in a hospital,” she said, grateful for the reassurance.
Another Health Concern on Sunday
However, Friday’s ordeal wasn’t the only health issue Sadie faced that weekend. On Sunday, April 13, she had to visit the doctor again, this time for a sinus infection and bronchitis.
Despite the challenges, the mother of two — and soon-to-be three — remained positive, sharing, “This pregnancy has been wild, but I am just so thankful baby is kicking around in the womb unbothered by the wild ride we’ve been on.”
She ended her update by saying, “Praying we make a turn today!” fans will be hoping for a smooth recovery for Robertson Huff as she continues her pregnancy journey.
Family Life and Upcoming TV Revival
Robertson Huff is already a mother to two daughters, Honey James (3) and Haven Belle (1), whom she shares with her husband, Christian Huff. The couple has been married since 2019 and has shared many moments of their family life on social media. They announced their third pregnancy on Valentine’s Day 2025, sharing sweet photos with their fans.
Fans will also get to see more of Robertson Huff and her family when the Duck Dynasty reality show makes its return to television on May 28, 2025. The revival will air on A&E, bringing back the Robertson family’s beloved adventures after the show originally aired from 2012 to 2017.
