WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The Wichita Falls Police Department (WFPD) has confirmed that Elmondo Leusay Gildon is now facing a homicide charge related to the May 2024 death of Trevanian Mitchell.
Gildon is currently being held at the Wichita County Jail on multiple other charges, including five counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana, and a murder charge out of Dallas.
Homicide Charge Tied to Wichita Falls Case
While Gildon was already in custody for unrelated charges, WFPD said that their ongoing investigation into Mitchell’s death led to the new homicide charge. Details about the specific circumstances surrounding Mitchell’s death have not been made public, as the case remains under investigation.
