The Texas Rangers have announced that this will be the Peagle’s final season, which may be a very stupid move.
In 2023, the Texas Rangers won the World Series for the first time in their franchise history. Was it the result of clutch hitting, good management, or the bullpen finally stepping up? Many believe the Rangers’ introduction of a good luck charm early in the season played a role.
In 2023, the Texas Rangers debuted their first-ever city connect uniform. The Rangers honored the history of the Dallas/Fort Worth baseball scene. The uniform pays tribute to the Dallas Panthers, Dallas Eagles, and Dallas-Fort Worth Spurs. A new logo was created, combining two of those teams to form ‘The Peagle’. The photo above shows it on the right shoulder.
When the new jersey and city connect hat first became available, they sold out quickly. The Rangers wore them to every Friday night home game in 2023. The Rangers had a losing record with the city connect uniforms, going 6-7. Fans didn’t care; they adored the peagle.

Countless fans are rallying behind The Peagle in the 2023 season, and it has become synonymous with the World Series champions. Apparently, MLB and Nike have a rule regarding city connect uniforms. When you get a new one, the old one is retired. According to the Texas Rangers, The Peagle will play its final season in 2025.

Hopefully, fans who got a Peagle tattoo are not disappointed with their decision. Yes, many fans have The Peagle tattooed on them.
Peagle is life.
