Glen Holmes Jr. has been missing from Texas for an extended period of time. His crime occurred in 2006 and he has been wanted since 2008. Here’s what we know at the time of writing.
What Was The Crime Glen Holmes Committed?
According to Investigation Discovery, Barry Thomas and his girlfriend visited a Taco Cabana drive-thru in Conroe, Texas, in 2006.
While the couple was in the drive-thru, Holmes Jr. approached the vehicle and pressured Thomas into giving him the car they were driving, a Cadillac. Holmes killed Thomas, but his girlfriend was able to get out of the car.
Police apprehended Holmes after he attempted to flee by jumping out of a window. But Holmes was able to post bond and was released from police custody for a short time. Holmes was incarcerated again in 2008 after failing a drug test.
After being fitted with an ankle monitor, Holmes allegedly removed it and fled the scene, leaving police to search for him.
Where Could Holmes Be?
According to ValleyCentral, tips to law enforcement indicate that Holmes is somewhere in Mexico. Chihuahua, Coahuila, Saltillo, Nuevo Leon, and Monterrey have all been listed as possible locations for Homes.
Law enforcement has stated that they believe Holmes is armed and dangerous, and that anyone who sees him should not attempt to apprehend or alert police. Investigation Discovery also revealed that he may be dressing up as a female to avoid detection by police.
