WICHITA FALLS — We are saying goodbye to one of the founding members of the KFDX family.
Ben Strickland has passed away.
Strickland joined the KFDX team in the late 1950s, and as many recall, he was a key member of the team for over 20 years, delivering the weather.
Strickland’s career would lead him to many more significant opportunities.
After he left in 1979, Strickland’s legions of Texoma fans never forgot him.
Ben Strickland died at the age of 91 on April 18, 2025.
