Collision Between Vehicle and Bike Sends Cyclist to the Hospital

A cyclist was injured in a traffic accident in downtown Wichita Falls on Thursday, according to the Wichita Falls Police Department (WFPD). The incident happened near the intersection of 11th Street and Holliday Street, just before noon.

What Happened?

Emergency units responded quickly to the scene after reports of a vehicle striking a cyclist. First responders found the cyclist injured but conscious, and they immediately provided medical aid.

The cyclist was then taken to United Regional Health Care System with significant injuries, but officials confirmed that the individual is now in stable condition.
