Hill Country, Texas – The floods that swept through Hill Country have claimed at least 89 lives. One of the most heartbreaking parts of the tragedy is the confirmation of 27 deaths at Camp Mystic, a girls’ summer camp along the Guadalupe River.
Additionally, 10 more campers and staff members remain missing. The floods have left a trail of devastation across the region, and the need for assistance continues to grow.
Now, San Angelo is facing its own disaster. The city is experiencing severe flooding, with eerie photos showing neighborhoods nearly submerged. Families in the area are desperately in need of supplies, and we’re organizing a supply drive to send immediate aid to San Angelo and the surrounding areas.
What Is Needed Most in San Angelo
Here’s a list of the most-needed items:
Hygiene items: Toothbrushes, toothpaste, baby wipes, soap, shampoo, deodorant, feminine products, new socks and underwear (all sizes).
Cleaning supplies: Trash bags, disinfectants, all-purpose cleaners, mops, brooms, gloves, scrub brushes, laundry detergent, dust masks.
Food & baby needs: Non-perishable foods, bottled water, baby formula, diapers, mosquito spray.
