Disability Benefits Are Arriving: How to Receive the New SSDI Check by the End of March

Disability Benefits Are Arriving How to Receive the New SSDI Check by the End of March

Before the end of March, all SSDI Disability Benefit recipients in the United States will be able to directly receive a retirement payment. This payment is distributed on different days depending on the recipient’s retirement group.

Regardless of whether we are in groups 1, 2, 3, or 4, we will receive this check without difficulty throughout the month.

Keep in mind that each group receives its payment on a different day, so if we are in group 4 of retirees due to disability, we will have to wait until the last day of payment in March to receive the benefit.

The year of retirement is critical in determining whether we receive the payment sooner or later, but the age of retirement is irrelevant in these situations.

On the other hand, the other key element that we must take into account in order to mark on the calendar whether we will receive the payment before or after during the month is the day of the birthday.

With these two elements already mentioned, we will be able to mark on the calendar of each month the day on which the Administration will send us our Disability payment. Remember that the SSDI can arrive on the same day as the retirement payment, since the type of benefit does not influence which group you are in.

Who will get the next SSDI Disability check?

Group 4 of retirees will receive this new benefit on March 26th. To be a part of this group, we must meet two mandatory requirements. These requirements determine whether we receive this check today or on another day of the month.

Because this is the final payment for the entire month of March, if we are not in group 4 of disability pensioners, we will have to wait until April, when the payment schedule will resume.

Thus, benefits are paid on March 26th to pensioners who:

  • Have applied for benefits after May 1997.
  • Have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of any month.

To this, we must add another requirement if you have a payment due on the 26th and want to receive it the same day. Direct Deposit is the quickest collection method available, and only if it is activated will we be able to receive the payment on the 26th of the month.

If we do not activate this collection method, we will still receive this payment, but only after a few days.
