Exclusive Interview This Country Artist Says He Lives Next Door to Kid Rock + It Explains a Lot

Country singer Jon Pardi recently appeared on Taste of Country Nights and shared some fun details about his life — including the fact that he lives just a couple of miles away from music star Kid Rock in Tennessee.

Jon Pardi and Kid Rock Are Real-Life Neighbours

During his chat with host Evan Paul, Jon Pardi casually mentioned that he and Kid Rock are neighbours. They don’t live right next to each other, but they’re close enough — about two miles apart. Pardi even calls him by his real name, Bob, which is short for Robert James Ritchie.

Pardi said, “Bob’s a good dude. He’s a good guy. I met him about eight years ago. He lives by me, so it’s like having a country neighbour.”

And yes, he confirmed that Kid Rock does live in his famous replica of the White House in Tennessee. If you’re around the area, Pardi says it’s not surprising to randomly see Kid Rock doing normal things, like pumping gas.

A Night Out With Kid Rock in Nashville

When asked about the last time he went out to a bar in Nashville, Pardi recalled, “I think it was last month. I was out with Bob. We went to his VIP place, and we left around midnight.”

Pardi also described Kid Rock’s popular Nashville bar — Kid Rock’s Big Ass Honky Tonk — as a wild spot where people come to party hard. He joked, “People go there saying, ‘I’m gonna get wasted! I’m gonna throw up right in front of it!’”

They Keep It Friendly and Low-Key

Even though both Pardi and Kid Rock are big names in music, they keep their friendship pretty low-key. Pardi said he always refers to him as “Bob” when texting or calling, unless he has to explain who he’s talking about to someone else. In that case, he says, “Kid Rock” just so people know who he means.

Their friendship might come as a surprise to fans, but it makes sense — they live near each other, share a love for music and country life, and seem to get along really well.
