Former Business Manager in Salado Facing Indecent Assault Charges

Salado, Texas – Richard Anton Carrillo, a 40-year-old former business manager from Salado, is facing two counts of indecent assault in Bell County Jail, involving two 16-year-old female employees.

Initial Allegations Emerge

The Salado Police Department issued a press release stating that on June 10, 2025, one of the victims came forward with allegations of sexual harassment.

The victim reported that Carrillo had made repeated unwanted sexual comments, engaged in inappropriate touching, and had used threats and intimidation to create an unsafe and inappropriate work environment. The victim claimed that Carrillo’s actions made the workplace unbearable.

Arrest and Charges

Following an investigation, police were able to gather enough evidence to obtain an arrest warrant for Carrillo on July 13, 2025. Carrillo was charged with indecent assault, which is classified as a Class A Misdemeanor under Texas law. After his arrest, he was booked into Bell County Jail with a $10,000 bond.

Second Victim Comes Forward

While investigating the case, a second teenage victim came forward with similar allegations against Carrillo. After interviewing the second victim, the Salado Police Department obtained a second arrest warrant for another count of indecent assault.

This warrant was served while Carrillo was already in jail, and an additional $10,000 bond was set, bringing his total bond to $20,000 for both counts.

Ongoing Investigation

At this time, Salado Police have not released the name of Carrillo’s business or other specific details about the case, as the investigation is still ongoing. Police have also refrained from releasing any identifying information about the victims due to their ages.

Police Commend Victims and Seek Information

In the press release, the Salado Police Department praised the bravery of the victims for coming forward. They encouraged anyone with further information about Carrillo or his actions to contact them at (254) 947-5681.

However, authorities emphasized that no additional identifying information about the victims would be released.

As of Monday, Carrillo remains in Bell County Jail, and an official arrest affidavit has not been made public. The investigation continues.
