Houston and Dallas Rank Among Worst Cities for Drunk Driving in the U.S.

The famous NASA phrase, “Houston, we have a problem,” has never been more fitting. According to a new report from Amanda Demanda Injury Lawyers, Houston ranks as the third-worst city for drunk driving in the United States, with Dallas not far behind, coming in as the eighth-worst.

Stay Alert on Texas Roads

When driving in Houston or Dallas, it’s important to stay extra cautious. Even though no one’s perfect behind the wheel, keeping your defensive driving skills sharp is key. I’ve seen drivers run red lights way too many times as if they didn’t even see them.

I’m not here to judge—if you know me, you know I’m all for having a good time and enjoying a few drinks. I’m definitely not someone who needs much convincing to have a cold one.

Why Designated Drivers Aren’t Always Enough

The only issue is, all of my friends love to party just as much as I do. So when everyone is ready to have a good time, finding a designated driver can be tricky. Not everyone is in a condition to take on that responsibility after a few drinks.

Why Uber is the Safer Option

That’s where Uber comes in as a lifesaver. After a long day of work or a fun night out, Uber is the perfect solution. It’s just a tap away on your phone, and it ensures you get home safely, without the risk of getting behind the wheel drunk.

For me, it’s been a game-changer, keeping me from the dangers of driving under the influence, including the risk of arrest or a dangerous accident.
