Jelly Roll may be on a weight loss journey, but that doesn’t mean he’s giving up on the flavours he loves. In fact, his on-tour meals are not only healthy and nutritious — they look like fast food too! Thanks to his personal chef, Larios, Jelly Roll gets to enjoy delicious dishes that feel indulgent but are actually good for his body.
A Health Kick That Looks Like Cheat Day
Since late 2022, Jelly Roll has been serious about losing weight and living a healthier life. He’s shared his progress openly with fans and hit a major milestone in October 2024 — a whopping 100 pounds lost! But he’s not stopping there.
In February 2025, he launched the Losers Run Club, inviting fans to join him on the journey to better health. His dream? To be on the cover of Men’s Health magazine by March 2026.
You’d expect someone with such goals to eat plain salads and drink protein shakes all day. But not Jelly Roll. Instead, his tour meals are full of flavour and fun — and still help him stay on track.
A Healthy Twist on Waffle House Favorites
One of Jelly Roll’s all-time favourite places is Waffle House, known for greasy, comfort food. But now, thanks to Chef Larios, he gets a healthy version of those classic dishes.
In a video he posted on social media, Jelly showed what he eats in a day on tour. His first meal was a “Waffle House bowl” — a homemade mix of hashbrowns, diced vegetables, and chicken sausage. To make it even better, it included air-fried potatoes and sauerkraut.
“This all started because I loved Waffle House,” Jelly said in the video. “Larios figured out a way to make ’em not only taste good, but they’re good for my tummy.”
A Snack That Feels Like Dessert
Later in the day, Jelly had a peanut butter dough cookie bite with banana slices on the side. It looked like a cheat-day dessert, but it was part of his healthy diet.
By keeping his meals fun and satisfying, Jelly proves that healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring.
Bringing Canadian Poutine Into His Diet
For his second meal of the day, Jelly enjoyed a twist on a Canadian classic — poutine! He first tried the dish during his 2024 tour in Canada and loved it so much, he told the audience, “I’m gonna make it a tradition to throw gravy on my fries.”
But his version is healthier than the original. Instead of dairy cheese curds, Chef Larios uses cashew cheese. The gravy-topped meal included shredded chicken thighs and homemade french fries. It was not only dairy-free but also Jelly-approved.
On Tour and Still Focused
Jelly Roll has been touring in Canada this March and will soon join Post Malone’s stadium tour starting in late April. Even while traveling and performing, he’s staying committed to his health goals — and showing others that it’s possible to enjoy food and still lose weight.
