Katelyn, Kane Brown's Wife, is Slowly Recovering From Serious Bruise

Kane Brown’s wife, Katelyn Brown, is finally back on social media after a long break, and she’s opening up about a tough few weeks. She revealed that their entire family—including their children Kingsley, Kodi, and baby Krewe—has been battling the flu.

Though they’ve been laying low at home, Katelyn reassured fans that they are finally on the mend. However, the flu hit her hard, leaving her with an unexpected and painful souvenir—a large bruise on her arm from an IV mishap.

The Brown Family’s Flu Struggles

On March 13, Katelyn took to Instagram Stories to explain her absence and give fans an update:

  • The entire Brown family has been sick with the flu, making recovery tough.
  • Kane was the first to get sick, which actually worked out since he recovered just in time for his High Road Tour kickoff.
  • Katelyn suffered a nasty bruise from an IV gone wrong, which she showed in her video.

“I haven’t been on here much because the fam was hit with the flu and it has been so hard!” she said. “Luckily, we are finally getting better.”

Katelyn’s IV Injury

While she’s feeling better, Katelyn showed off a massive bruise on her forearm, describing it as “real ugly” in her post. The purple, yellow, and green mark is the result of an IV she received for dehydration during her illness.

“IV gone wrong and my arm is looking real ugly lol,” she shared with a picture of the bruising.

Kane Brown Kicks Off The High Road Tour

While Katelyn and the kids are still recovering at home, Kane Brown is back to work. His High Road Tour launched on March 13 at Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California.

The tour is promoting his latest album, The High Road, which was released in January 2025. Over the next seven months, he’ll travel across the United States and overseas, wrapping up on October 10 in London at OVO Arena Wembley.

Katelyn expressed her relief that Kane recovered first, so he was ready to hit the stage without delays. “Kane got it first, so he is good to go, thank God, because tonight’s the first night of the High Road Tour,” she said.
