Killeen, Texas – Killeen Police are asking the public for help in locating a white BMW that was involved in a hit-and-run accident on Saturday, June 28th.
The vehicle is believed to have struck a 20-year-old woman, leaving her severely injured and requiring immediate transport to Baylor, Scott & White Hospital.
The Incident
According to authorities, the incident occurred on Stagecoach Road in Killeen, where first responders found a body lying along the road. Preliminary investigations suggest the woman was walking along this rural stretch of road when the white BMW struck her, running her over.
The victim was airlifted to the hospital and was later reported to be in stable condition, though her recovery is expected to be difficult. She is fortunate to have survived the accident, and her injuries could have been much worse.
