Opelousas, Louisiana – In a chilling and heartbreaking case, Aaron Lloyd, a 31-year-old man, has been arrested on suspicion of murdering his mother, Lisa Lloyd, and disposing of her body in a trash can outside their home.
The Opelousas Police Department responded to the disturbing scene on June 22, 2025, after Aaron Lloyd reportedly admitted to killing his mother.
The Discovery and Arrest
Officers arrived at the residence and found human remains inside a trash can under the carport. Investigators quickly identified Aaron Lloyd as the primary suspect and located him at a home in Krotz Springs.
During questioning, Lloyd reportedly confessed to the murder. According to his confession, he had injected his mother with methamphetamine before beating her to death.
