Conservative influencer Ashley St. Clair is back in the spotlight, this time for selling her Tesla on video. She says she made the move because Elon Musk—who she claims fathered her son—cut her child support payments by 60%. The dramatic moment, captured in Manhattan, comes after weeks of public attention surrounding her claims and an ongoing custody dispute.
St. Clair Sells Her Tesla on Camera
Over the weekend, Ashley St. Clair sold her $100,000 black Tesla Model S using the Carvana app. Media cameras were present as the vehicle was loaded up in Manhattan. She said the reason for the sale was to deal with the financial gap left after Musk allegedly slashed her child support payments.
“I’m selling it because I need to make up for the 60 percent cut that Elon made to our son’s child support,” she told reporters.
St. Clair Calls Musk “Vindictive”
When asked if Musk cut support out of anger, St. Clair didn’t hold back. She called the move “vindictive” and said it reflects a pattern of behavior. “Yeah, that’s his modus operandi, when women speak out,” she said, implying that Musk reacts harshly to public criticism from women.
She also mentioned she hasn’t spoken to Musk since February 13 and used the recent fall in Tesla stock as proof that many are disappointed with his actions.
Ongoing Legal Dispute and Allegations
Earlier, People magazine reported that Musk cut St. Clair’s child support payments shortly after she filed a custody petition in court. Her legal team claimed that Musk had ignored private efforts to solve the matter quietly and only reacted after the issue went public.
“Elon Musk has financially retaliated against his own child,” her attorneys said, stating the support was reduced “substantially and unilaterally.”
Backstory: How It All Started
Ashley St. Clair claims that Musk first messaged her on X (formerly Twitter) months before the alleged relationship began. She says Musk fathered her child in January 2024. Although she asked for privacy when the news first came out, St. Clair has continued to speak out publicly as the case has developed.
