Man from Shreveport Arrested After Sexual Assault at a Party

A weekend gathering in Shreveport quickly turned serious after a call to police about a fight led to an arrest for sexual battery. The incident happened just after 9:45 p.m. on April 19, 2025, at a house on Sunnybrook.

When Shreveport Police arrived, the scene was chaotic. Officers spoke with several witnesses and began piecing together what had happened.

What Led to the Arrest?

According to police reports, a woman attending the party went to use the bathroom. Moments later, Alex Jackson allegedly followed her inside without her permission.

The woman told officers that Jackson, who appeared to be intoxicated, started sexually harassing her by trying to touch her inappropriately. Despite the woman asking him to leave, Jackson reportedly refused to exit the bathroom.

Witnesses said they saw the woman enter the bathroom alone and noticed a physical altercation after she came out. Their statements helped confirm the woman’s version of events.

After investigating, police arrested Alex Jackson and charged him with sexual battery. He was booked into the Shreveport City Jail. As of now, the case remains under active investigation.
