Morgan Wallen Attends the Tennessee Basketball Game From Courtside. Go Vols!

Morgan Wallen is a Tennessee native who bleeds orange and white.

On Sunday (March 16), the country singer was seen sitting courtside cheering on the Volunteers in the Men’s SEC Tournament championship game against the Florida Gators.

The SEC Network released a video of Wallen wearing boots, jeans, a Tennessee hoodie, and a Field & Stream ball cap while sitting next to the scorers table.

“It’s always #Tennessee orange for him,” the network says in the caption.

The “I’m the Problem” singer made a rare public appearance, but it was not his first Tennessee sporting event. He was spotted at the Men’s College World Series in 2024, supporting the Volunteers baseball team as they won their first title. It was a significant moment for Wallen, who had aspirations of playing professional baseball as a child.

Unfortunately, the Volunteers basketball team was less successful this weekend, losing to the Gators 86-77.

Who Was Sitting Next to Morgan Wallen at the SEC Tournament?

Wallen was not alone at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena during the game. Austin Neal of the Neal Agency sat next to him and was also wearing a Field & Stream hat.

The group represents talent in country music, with names like Riley Green, Hardy, Chase Rice, and others on its roster. Neal established the agency in 2022.

Is Morgan Wallen Releasing a New Album in 2025?

The short answer is “probably.” Wallen is currently taking a break from touring after wrapping up his One Night at a Time Tour, which lasted several years. The “Smile” hitmaker’s next tour, the I’m the Problem Tour, begins in June.

The tour will be in support of his new album of the same title. The release date for I’m the Problem has yet to be announced, but Wallen recently informed his fans that the collection is officially finished.

He also plans to launch his own music festival in 2025, the Sand in My Boots Festival, which will take place in Gulf Shores, Alabama, in May of that year.
