According to the Burkbunett Fire Department, Interstate 44 on the Red River Bridge is closed.
Due to poor visibility, the BFD assisted the Oklahoma Highway Patrol in responding to a 10-vehicle accident.
Both the north and southbound lanes of I-44 are closed at the Red River Bridge.
According to the Texas Department of Transportation, as of 3:42 p.m., all I-44 lanes into and out of Oklahoma are closed on the Oklahoma side of the Red River. Detours are in place.
