Country star Carrie Underwood is totally in love with the newest addition to her Tennessee farm—a baby lamb born on April 1st. And honestly, fans can’t get enough of the cuteness either!
Carrie took to Instagram on Monday, April 7, to share some sweet new photos and videos of the little guy, and it’s clear he’s already stealing hearts.
“Cuteness Overload” on the Farm
In one picture, the tiny lamb is standing next to his mama with a close-up smile that’s too cute to handle. “Cuteness overload,” Carrie wrote in the caption. In another photo, she shared, “I just want to snuggle him all the time,” and honestly, same!
The baby lamb is starting to grow his own wooly coat, and fans loved seeing him looking happy and healthy in his barn home.
A Fast Learner Just Like His Mama
Carrie also posted a video of the lamb eating hay beside his mother. She proudly noted how the little one is already picking up habits by copying his mom. “The way he mimics his mommy…” she wrote, with a heart emoji, showing just how proud she is of the newborn.
This lamb is the first to be born on the Underwood family farm, making it an extra special moment for the singer and her family.
Life on Carrie’s Farm: More Than Just Music
While Carrie is known for her music and being a judge on American Idol, her love for animals is just as strong. She’s also mom to two sons, Isaiah (10) and Jacob (6), and a variety of farm animals.
Earlier this year, her husband Mike Fisher gifted her baby chicks for Valentine’s Day, and Carrie has been busy raising them. She even had to step away from the TV during the American Idol season premiere to care for a sick hen—a true farm mom!
Gary the Sheep: The Farm’s Trouble Maker
While the new lamb is sweet and gentle, not all of Carrie’s animals are as well-behaved. She’s also got Gary the sheep, who has a bit of a wild side. According to Carrie, Gary is known for biting, bullying, and even stealing food from other baby animals. Every farm has its character, and Gary definitely keeps things interesting.
