One person is dead after a vehicle fire late Saturday night, according to officials from the Lake Arrowhead and Bluegrove Volunteer Fire Departments.
Firefighters were called to the 5100 block of FM 2606 around 11:15 p.m. on April 26, 2025. When they arrived, they found a vehicle fully engulfed in flames.
Body Discovered After Fire Extinguished
After putting out the fire, firefighters discovered a body in the driver’s seat of the vehicle.
Paul Barham, Chief of the Lake Arrowhead Volunteer Fire Department, shared his condolences in a statement:
“Our hearts go out to the family and loved ones affected by this tragic incident. We extend our deepest sympathies to all those impacted during this difficult time.”
Investigation Underway
The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) has taken over the investigation into the cause of the fire and the identity of the victim.
As of now, officials have not released the name of the person who died.
