Over 100 Arrested as Federal Agents Raid Underground Nightclub in Colorado Springs

More than 300 federal agents raided what the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) described as an “underground nightclub” in Colorado Springs early Sunday morning. At least 114 people were arrested during the operation.

The large-scale raid involved agents from the FBI, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), the IRS, the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Division, and even the U.S. Postal Service, alongside local police, according to CBS News.

Firearms, Drugs, and Mass Arrests

Federal agents seized firearms and drugs during the raid, which took place around 3:45 a.m. The DEA confirmed that illegal narcotics like cocaine, methamphetamine, and “pink cocaine” were confiscated at the scene.

Officials said more than 200 people were inside the nightclub at the time. Some people tried to flee when law enforcement stormed the building, but DEA footage showed agents ordering them to get on the ground. Many complied by raising their hands.

The DEA reported that 114 illegal immigrants were arrested and placed on buses for processing and likely deportation.

Links to Violent Gangs

Top officials have alleged that the nightclub was used by dangerous criminal groups. Deputy White House Chief of Staff for Policy Stephen Miller stated that members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua frequented the club.

Attorney General Pam Bondi claimed that members of MS-13 were also present and referred to them as “terrorists.” She praised the DEA’s efforts, saying, “As we approach his 100 days in office, President Trump’s directive to make America safe again is achieving results!”

President Donald Trump celebrated the operation on Truth Social, writing that the raid targeted “some of the worst people illegally in our Country—Drug Dealers, Murderers, and other Violent Criminals.”

Military Personnel Involved

DEA officials also revealed that some active-duty U.S. military members were at the nightclub, either as patrons or working as private security.

Jonathan Pullen, Special Agent in Charge of the DEA Rocky Mountain Field Division, said, “It’s obviously concerning to have active-duty military involved. We’re working closely with the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division to investigate further.”

Raids Across the Country

The Colorado Springs raid follows a series of immigration enforcement actions under “Operation Tidal Wave” in Florida, where ICE agents, working with local police, made nearly 800 arrests in one week.

Officials described it as a “first of its kind” immigration crackdown and a “preview of what’s to come nationwide.”

The enforcement relies on ICE’s 287(g) agreements, which allow local police to carry out immigration-related arrests. Florida leads the nation, with around 200 agencies signed onto these agreements.

Legal Battles Over Deportations

President Trump also addressed the legal challenges facing his immigration agenda. He warned that if the Supreme Court blocks the use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport certain gang members without individual hearings, the U.S. would become a “crime-ridden mess.”

“If we don’t win this battle at the Supreme Court, our Country, as we know it, is FINISHED!” Trump posted on Truth Social.

Reaction to Judge’s Arrest

Trump also commented on the recent arrest of Wisconsin judge Hannah Dugan, who was accused of obstructing justice by allegedly helping an immigrant avoid arrest by federal agents.

“What happened was terrible,” Trump told reporters. “We can’t let these criminals stay, and the courts are allowing them to stay. Hopefully, the Supreme Court will come to the rescue of our country.”
