Part 5 of the Anthology Series by Garth Brooks Will Be Released

Country music icon Garth Brooks is set to release the latest installment in his Anthology book series this spring. The Anthology Part V: The Comeback will take fans behind the scenes of his record-breaking arena tour that spanned from 2014 to 2017.

Scheduled for release on April 4, the book will be available on Amazon and TalkShopLive. This new volume continues Brooks’ tradition of revisiting key moments in his career, offering fans an in-depth look at his return to the stage after a long hiatus.

What Is The Anthology Part V: The Comeback About?

This latest anthology focuses on Brooks’ comeback tour, which saw him perform nearly 400 shows across multiple years. The title itself refers to Brooks’ return to country music after retiring in 2000. While he made a few select appearances during his retirement—such as a Las Vegas residency—he largely stayed out of the spotlight until his 2014 comeback.

What’s Included in the Book?

  • Behind-the-scenes stories from Brooks himself.
  • Over 150 never-before-seen photos from the tour.
  • Six CDs with 66 songs, including seven live tracks.

Leading Up to the Release: Special Conversations with Garth Brooks

In anticipation of the book’s launch, Brooks will hold a series of conversations with key figures from his comeback era. These discussions will be available on TalkShopLive (TSL) on the following dates:

  • March 10 – First conversation with band members and others.
  • March 17, 24, 31, and April 4 – Additional discussions leading up to the book’s release.

A Look Back at the Anthology Series

Brooks began releasing his Anthology series in 2017, with each book focusing on a specific period of his career. The release timeline has been:

  • Part 1 (2017): The First Five Years – Covering his early career.
  • Part 3 (2018) – Exploring his rise in the 1990s.
  • Part 2 (2022) – A deep dive into his mid-career years.
  • Part 4 (2024) – Chronicling his personal and professional life before his retirement.
  • Part 5 (2025): The Comeback – Detailing his triumphant return to touring.

Between 2014 and 2019, Brooks released two studio albums—Man Against Machine and Gunslinger—as well as a Christmas album with his wife, Trisha Yearwood.

Controversy Surrounding the Release

While excitement surrounds The Anthology Part V, Brooks is also dealing with legal issues. He is currently fighting sexual assault charges brought forward by a former makeup artist. This legal battle has cast a shadow over the book’s release, though Brooks has not publicly addressed the allegations in connection to his new project.
