Police in Wichita Falls Are Looking for a Suspect in the Break-in at a Cannabis Dispensary

Wichita Falls police are on the lookout for a suspect who broke into a cannabis dispensary early Thursday morning, March 27. The incident happened at The Cannabis Shop on Kemp Boulevard, and this isn’t the first time the store has been targeted this month.

What Happened?

According to Nathan Wilson, the manager of The Cannabis Shop, the burglary took place around 4 a.m. The suspect reportedly used a gun or possibly a BB gun to smash the front glass door, gaining entry into the store.

Once inside, the suspect jumped over the counter and grabbed several items, including Delta-8 THC products, before fleeing on foot toward a nearby neighborhood. As of now, it’s unclear exactly how many items were taken during the break-in.

Police Investigation Underway

Wichita Falls police quickly arrived at the scene and searched the surrounding area, but the suspect was not found. Crime Scene Technicians photographed the scene and collected physical evidence in hopes of identifying the burglar.

Not the First Time This Month

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first burglary at The Cannabis Shop this month. Earlier in March 2025, another break-in occurred where police caught a suspect inside the store, stuffing products into a backpack.

Manager Nathan Wilson expressed concern over the repeated break-ins and the impact on business. With Delta-8 THC products being a popular item, dispensaries like his are becoming frequent targets for theft.
