Shreveport Police are actively searching for a woman accused of stealing from a Lowe’s store in the city. The suspect, Shabrina Green, was clearly caught on video taking items off the shelves and walking out without paying. Authorities say this is not her first time being involved in theft, and now a Felony Theft warrant has been issued.
Who Is Shabrina Green?
According to the Property Crimes Division of the Shreveport Police Department (SPD), Shabrina Green has a long history of theft. In fact, police say she has already been convicted twice before. Because of these past convictions, this time she is being charged as a habitual offender, which means the charge is now upgraded to Felony Theft.
Green was recently seen on store security video inside a Lowe’s in Shreveport. In the footage, she is shown casually moving through the aisles, picking up goods, and leaving the store without paying. Detectives used the footage to confirm her identity and begin their search.
Police Request Public Help to Locate Her
The Shreveport Police Department is asking for help from the public to find Green. They have issued the following appeal:
“Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Shabrina Green is urged to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300 or Caddo Crime Stoppers at 318-673-7373. Crime Stoppers will pay a cash reward for information leading to her arrest, and all tips remain anonymous.”

Habitual Offender Laws Explained
In Louisiana, if a person has been convicted of theft more than once, future charges can become more serious. This is called the Habitual Offender Law. It allows the court to give tougher punishments to repeat offenders, especially if their crimes keep happening within a short time.
Since Shabrina Green already has two prior theft convictions, this latest case has become a felony-level charge, which carries stronger legal consequences, including jail time and a permanent criminal record.
