Summer has officially arrived in Bossier City with the opening of the Great Louisiana Fair! From Shreveport to Haughton, families are flocking to enjoy thrilling rides, delicious food, circus shows, a live parakeet encounter, and even a petting zoo. When and Where
The Great Louisiana Fair runs from May 30th through June 15th at Louisiana Downs in Bossier City. Best of all, parking onsite is free, making it easy to bring the whole family.
What to Expect at the Fair
For just $7 per person (kids under 3 feet tall get in free), you’ll have access to a day packed with fun. Once inside, you’ll need to purchase credits to enjoy the rides:
- 6 credits for $8
- 30 credits for $35
- 50 credits for $50
For those who love unlimited rides, wristbands are available:
- $32 Monday through Friday
- $37 on weekends
Delicious Fair Food and Unique Flavors
Foodies won’t be disappointed! Expect unique and tasty treats you won’t find every day, like Korean corndogs and carne asada street corn. A representative from the fair told K94.5 that the food offerings will bring exciting new flavors to your palate.
