The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office (CPSO) has successfully apprehended Johnathan B. Melton, the man wanted in connection to a violent assault at a Shreveport gas station.

The Assault and the Viral Video

On Wednesday, May 28th, 2025, a Hispanic man was violently attacked by a white man at a convenience store on Hollywood Ave in Shreveport. The CPSO quickly released surveillance footage of the assault, along with a zoomed-in image of the attacker’s face, seeking help from the community in identifying the suspect.
