Texas Tech Football Kicks Off on August 30th
Texas Tech will begin its 2025 season on August 30th against Arkansas-Pine Bluff at Jones AT&T Stadium. The game will start at 6:30 p.m. and will be broadcast on ESPN+, so make sure you don’t miss the exciting opener!
Upcoming Home Games for Texas Tech
- September 6, 2025: Kent State comes to Lubbock for a 11:00 a.m. game. The game will be aired on both TNT and streaming on MAX, so fans can tune in from anywhere.
- September 13, 2025: Texas Tech wraps up its non-conference home games with a 2:30 p.m. matchup against Oregon State. This game will be aired on FOX. It’s expected to be a hot one, so fans should be ready for a scorching afternoon at Jones AT&T Stadium!
Texas Tech Starts Big 12 Play on the Road
After their non-conference schedule, Texas Tech will hit the road to face off against Utah on September 20th, followed by a trip to Houston on October 4th. Their first Big 12 matchup at home will be October 11th against Kansas.
