The Complete Social Security Calendar for June 2025 Benefits for Retirement, SSI, and More

The Social Security Administration (SSA) has released its payment calendar for June 2025, including an important change affecting Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients.

June Social Security Payment Dates by Beneficiary Group

In June, over 70 million Social Security beneficiaries, including retirees and disabled workers, will receive their payments on specific dates based on birthdates or benefit start dates:

  • June 3: Beneficiaries who began receiving payments before May 1997
  • June 11: Beneficiaries with birthdays between the 1st and 10th of any month
  • June 18: Beneficiaries with birthdays between the 11th and 20th
  • June 25: Beneficiaries with birthdays between the 21st and 31st

These dates apply to retirees, surviving spouses, and SSDI recipients.

No SSI Payment Scheduled for June 2025

SSI payments usually arrive on the first of each month, but when that day falls on a weekend or holiday, the SSA adjusts the schedule.

Since June 1, 2025, is a Sunday, SSI payments for June were moved earlier, and recipients received them on Friday, May 30.

This means there will be no separate SSI payment during June 2025. Similar adjustments will occur in other months:

  • In August 2025, SSI recipients will receive two payments: August 1 and August 29 (the latter counts as September’s payment).
  • In December 2025, payments will be on December 1 and December 31 (counting for January 2026).

No extra payments are given; each recipient will still receive a total of 12 payments per year.
