Three teenagers in Harris County, Texas, have been arrested for allegedly attacking their mother after she turned off the home internet connection. Authorities say the teens even tried to chase and stab her during the shocking incident.
Harris County Sheriff Ed Gonzalez confirmed that deputies were called to a home on the 3400 block of Barkers Crossing Avenue after receiving reports of a domestic assault involving an adult woman.
According to the sheriff, three juveniles — aged 14, 15, and 16 — allegedly became violent after their mother disabled the Wi-Fi at home. Reports say the teens planned the attack together, grabbed kitchen knives, and chased their mother around the house and into the street, trying to stab her.
During the chaos, the mother was also reportedly hit with a brick. Her own mother — the teens’ grandmother — tried to intervene and protect her daughter but was knocked over in the process.
Injuries and Arrests
Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported, and both women are expected to recover. However, the violent nature of the incident has shocked the community.
All three teenagers have been arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. They are currently in custody, and the case is being handled by juvenile authorities.

“The teens coordinated a plan to try and kill their mother because she turned off the Wi-Fi,” Gonzalez said. “They grabbed kitchen knives and chased her throughout the house and into the street, attempting to stab her.”
