In over 1,000 pages of newly revealed diary entries, the transgender school shooter who murdered six people at Nashville’s Convent School in 2023 expressed hatred for America and a desire to “kill all the white kids.”
Audrey Hale, 28, left behind 16 notebooks filled with deranged writings detailing self-loathing and racial hatred, repeatedly stating her desire to “kill my own race” and “destroy all the white people who are teachers.”
“Being white sucks, but being black is awesome. Black people should rule. White people, both living and dead, should fall. “I hate you all,” wrote Hale, who was white.
“I hate the American people,” she wrote. “America is not the land of the free; it is full of idiots. It will only get worse in this country; there aren’t enough gods like me. “America and its people are doomed to be destroyed.”
The entries, obtained by Megyn Kelly’s AM Update, also addressed Hale’s gender frustrations.
“I only wore nice girl clothes to hide the truth, which I had been denying to myself for years. And I hated it all,” wrote Hale, who was born female but identified as male.
“It was miserable to be raised as a girl because I had no choice. There was a lack of education, research, and medicine to assist society and parents in better understanding transgender individuals.”
Hale was also enraged that she hadn’t been given puberty blockers, and she feared it was too late to begin using them.
“I’m mad because no one told me until I was 22. I think I’m too old and late to become a man. Currently, the process takes months to years. By the time that happens, I’m 30, and ten years later, I have a bald spot on my head and look like an old man. She wrote, “Hell no.”
These were just a few of the ramblings Hale left behind before storming into the Christian elementary school in March 2023, where she unloaded a 9mm carbine on three nine-year-old students and three more faculty members who got in her way.
The notebooks were revealed in an extensive final report from the Nashville Metropolitan Police Department last week, which explained how Hale wanted her writings published and preserved in museums to serve as a guide for other potential school shooters.
In them, Hale also expressed glowing admiration for Columbine shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, the DC snipers, serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, and Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh, repeatedly referring to them – and herself – as “gods.”
“I believe I am the reincarnation of Dylan Klebold.” My thoughts of depression are forever linked to his, as is my experience,” Hale wrote, expressing her desire to gain notoriety by murdering as many people as possible.
She chose the Covenant School as a target because she was afraid of being overpowered during an attack and thought young children would be safe targets, according to a police report released last week.
Hale attended the school as a child and had some of her happiest memories there, which is one of her most twisted motivations for targeting it.
“Because of this, Hale felt The Covenant was the perfect place to commit an attack, as it was the perfect setting for her death,” said the report’s conclusion.
Hale was killed within 15 minutes of opening fire at the school.
