Trump Warns Iran of Far Greater Attacks if Peace Is Not Reached

President Donald Trump warned Iran that it would face “far greater” attacks if the country does not come to a peace agreement with Israel and the United States.

Trump made the comments in an address to the nation from the White House East Room just hours after announcing that the U.S. military had bombed three Iranian nuclear sites. These strikes were a continuation of recent Israeli attacks on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure.

Trump’s Strong Message to Iran

“Iran, the bully of the Middle East, must now make peace,” Trump declared. “If they do not, future attacks will be far greater and a lot easier.” He reiterated his longstanding stance that Iran cannot be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons.

Trump referred to Iran’s long-standing calls for the destruction of Israel and the United States, stating, “Death to Israel and death to America have been their chants for years.”

Warning of Further Military Action

Trump emphasized that the recent attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities could be just the beginning. “There will either be peace, or there will be tragedy for Iran far greater than we have witnessed over the last eight days,” Trump said. He continued, “Remember, there are many targets left. Tonight’s was the most difficult of them by far, and perhaps the most lethal.”

The President further warned that if peace was not reached quickly, the U.S. would continue its military actions with “precision, speed, and skill”, targeting other sites. “Most of them can be taken out in a matter of minutes,” he added.

Trump’s Confidence in U.S. Military Strength

Trump boasted about the strength and success of the U.S. military, claiming, “There’s no military in the world that could’ve done what we did tonight. Not even close.”
