Updates from FBHW Extraordinary, Jury Duty, and More!

Hey, Idiots!

Like many of you, we love our free time, and we spend it wisely—by binge-watching TV shows and devouring books (especially Kelly, who reads like a machine). Since we often talk about what we’re watching and reading on the show, we get tons of texts asking:

  • What was that show you guys were talking about earlier?
  • What was the name of that book Kelly was reading?

Well, you’re in luck! We’ve put together a handy list of everything we consumed in February 2025, so you can find it all in one place. You’re welcome.

TV Shows & Movies We Watched

1. Jury Duty – Amazon Prime Video

Ever felt like you were the only one out of the loop while everyone else was in on a joke? That’s exactly what happens in Jury Duty.

  • Ronald Gladden, an actual juror, unknowingly walks into a mock trial where every other person is an actor.
  • The hilarious chaos unfolds as Ronald tries to make sense of the bizarre courtroom situations happening around him.
  • If you love comedy with a twist, this one’s for you.

2. Devil in the Desert – Hulu

A three-part documentary about a terrifying kidnapping case in the Mojave Desert.

  • A man and woman were kidnapped and held for a $1 million ransom.
  • The man was tortured in front of the woman, but she was given a chance to escape.
  • The series dives deep into the shocking investigation that followed.
  • If you’re into true crime, this is a must-watch.

3. Extraordinary – Hulu

A hilarious superhero comedy—but with a twist.

  • In this world, everyone develops a unique superpower by a certain age… except Jen, whose powers still haven’t shown up.
  • The show follows Jen as she struggles to fit in a world where everyone else is special.
  • It’s a fun, feel-good watch that blends humor with relatable awkwardness.

4. Baylen Out Loud – TLC

A reality series following TikTok creator Baylen Dupree, who has Tourette syndrome.

  • Baylen shares her real, unfiltered life in West Virginia, showing both the challenges and hilarious moments that come with her condition.
  • The show captures the chaos, love, and humor of her family life.
  • If you love authentic and inspiring reality TV, give this one a shot.

Book We Read in February

1. If You Tell – Gregg Olsen

A true crime book about the horrific abuse three sisters endured at the hands of their cruel and sadistic mother, Shelly Knotek.

  • Nikki, Sami, and Tori were subjected to torture, manipulation, and psychological terror.
  • Despite their nightmare, the sisters found strength in each other and survived.
  • If you love dark, gripping true crime stories, this one will stay with you long after you finish reading.
