Watch Russell Dickerson and His Wife's Dream Home in Progress

When life gives you unexpected turns, sometimes you have to go back to the basics. That’s exactly what country singer Russell Dickerson and his wife Kailey did with their home. What started as a small renovation turned into a complete rebuild—and now, their dream home is finally coming together.

A Fresh Start: More Than Just a Makeover

Russell and Kailey originally planned to update a few parts of their home—just the siding, roof, windows, and maybe change a few walls. But things didn’t go as planned. Once work began, they found that the structure wasn’t safe to live in. So, they had to take everything down right to the cement foundation and start over.

Even though this meant saying goodbye to the kitchen they loved for six years, the couple stayed positive. They decided to reuse whatever they could from their old home and focus on building something even better.

A Sunset Ride to a New Beginning

Kailey shared a sweet video on social media showing a beautiful sunset moment during their renovation journey. In the video, she drives up in an off-road vehicle, picks up Russell, and he jumps in while lip-syncing his own song, “Home Sweet.” The couple then rides together to see their nearly completed home, smiling as the sun lights up the house.

The text on the video reads, “Chasing the sunset to see it from our home renovation,” capturing the excitement and joy they felt.

Kailey’s Touching Message

In her Instagram post, Kailey opened up about their experience. She shared that they had to rebuild from the ground up because the framing of the old house wasn’t safe. But instead of being discouraged, she saw it as a lesson about life.

“Sometimes you’ve got to go back to the foundation and rebuild right,” she wrote. She added that the new version of their home is turning out even better than she imagined—free from old problems like squirrels in the attic or damaged walls.

She also asked fans what they wanted to see from the renovation—whether it’s a full house tour, her design mood boards, or the tiles she chose for different rooms.

What’s Next for Russell Dickerson?

While the home project is almost done, Russell is also busy with his music career. He just released his latest single, “Happen to Me,” to radio on March 10. He’s also on the road for his RussellMania Tour, which started on March 14 and will run until June 14.

Even with such a packed schedule, Russell and Kailey made time to enjoy their home journey together, showing how they balance personal life and professional commitments beautifully.
