Well-Known Gaza Family Executes the Hamas Shooter Who Murdered One of Their Family Members Report

Gaza Strip – In a rare and bold act of public defiance, a well-known family in central Gaza, the Abu Samra clan, reportedly executed a Hamas militant in broad daylight after he allegedly killed one of their relatives who was waiting in line for flour.

The dramatic incident took place on Tuesday in Deir al-Balah, as reported by The Times of Israel.

According to reports, the Hamas gunman fatally shot Abdulrahman Sha’aban Abu Samra, a member of the Abu Samra family, after Abdulrahman refused to leave a flour distribution queue.

Later that same day, heavily armed family members captured the militant. In video footage widely shared on social media, a group of men can be seen parading the gunman through the streets before executing him at point-blank range.

Public Anger Against Hamas Growing

This act of revenge killing highlights the growing frustration and anger of ordinary Gazans towards Hamas, the militant group that controls the Gaza Strip.

In recent weeks, there have been several rare public protests against Hamas, with civilians demanding an end to the ongoing conflict with Israel.

Thousands of people in northern Gaza were seen waving white flags and chanting slogans like “Stop the war” and “Hamas out.”

Hamas Yet to Respond

So far, Hamas has not issued any public statement about the execution of one of its members by fellow Gazans.

This incident has shaken the usual silence around Hamas’ rule, as public protests and punishments against the group are rare, mainly due to their strict crackdowns on any form of dissent.
