Country music superstar Carrie Underwood is wrapping up her long-running Reflection Las Vegas residency, but she’s not leaving empty-handed. The singer has her eyes on one particular item from the stage – a custom throne made from a real Cadillac, which she sits on during her performance of “Two Black Cadillacs.”
It’s not just a regular chair – it’s a dramatic, show-stopping throne, and Carrie has some humorous plans for it once her time in Vegas ends.
The Story Behind Carrie’s Cadillac Throne
During a recent performance at Resorts World Las Vegas, Carrie told the audience about her one-of-a-kind stage prop. The throne was created from actual parts of a Cadillac found in a junkyard, specially built for her dramatic number on stage.
“We got this chair that I gotta brag on,” she said from the stage. “The people that put this together, they literally went to a junkyard and found this super old Cadillac, chopped it up and made a throne for me to sit on.”
And she already has a future home picked out for it.
“I think I’m gonna put it in my living room when we pack up. That’s normal, right?” she joked. “Just have my dog in my lap, crocheting on my throne. It’ll be awesome.”
Not Just a Chair – A Vegas-Style Masterpiece
This Cadillac throne is no ordinary piece of furniture. It’s nearly the size of a small sofa, complete with working headlights, metal detailing, and a tall, spiked back that makes it look like it came out of a fantasy movie — or even something a villain might use in a Disney film.
It fits perfectly with the dramatic energy of her performance of Two Black Cadillacs, where the story of betrayal and revenge unfolds with intense visuals and vocals.
Carrie’s Life Off Stage: Chickens, Crochet & Horror Movies
Carrie Underwood isn’t just about flashy performances and big stages. At home, her life is quite the opposite. She enjoys crocheting, growing her own vegetables, baking bread, and raising chickens. She lovingly refers to her crafting as her “granny hobbies.”
On top of that, she’s a huge fan of horror movies. In fact, during a recent episode of American Idol, she revealed that she loves classic horror flicks like Nightmare on Elm Street and Halloween.
Final Shows of the Reflection Residency
Carrie’s Reflection Las Vegas residency has been running since December 2021 and has become one of the most talked-about country shows on the Vegas Strip. Fans still have a final chance to see her live in Vegas — her last three shows are scheduled for April 9, 11, and 12 at Resorts World Las Vegas.
As she prepares to close this exciting chapter, fans will surely remember the music, the energy, and yes — that unforgettable Cadillac throne.
