The cause of death for popular YouTuber P2istheName (born Philip Enewally) has been confirmed nearly three months after his shocking passing.
On March 14, 2024, the 26-year-old content creator, known for his video game walkthroughs and detailed playthrough analyses, was found dead in the mail room of his Los Angeles apartment building.
According to the County of Los Angeles Medical Examiner, the cause of death was determined to be “sudden cardiac dysfunction due to solitary papillary muscle hypertrophy.”
This condition is a subtype of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, which is known to be a risk factor for sudden fatal cardiac events. Despite paramedics’ efforts to revive him, Enewally was pronounced dead at 3:11 p.m. local time.
