A Cold War-era F-16 warbird made an unexpected stop in Uvalde’s Tex-Best parking lot while being transported from Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls to Laughlin Air Force Base near Del Rio.
The iconic military jet will stay in Uvalde until Saturday before continuing its journey to Laughlin for on-the-ground pilot training.
